Welcome to the Thunder Creek Model Railroad Club web site.
Here we go with a new season and already we need to change some dates. During the summer, the Calgary Train Show Executive contacted us in reference to our show dates. It appears that a change of venue is required in Calgary and that the only available date for this year was in conflict with our show. The various Calgary train clubs have been excellent supporters of our shows in the past. I can say that there was at least 1 group from Calgary at all our shows since we moved to the WDM with some year seeing 2 or more groups in attendance.
We certainly are appreciative of the Calgary "Supertrain" executive to make sure our show will not suffer due to their change of venue and date.
A a result of all this, the show dated for 2008 will be: 5 & 6 Apr 2008.
